Welcome to Shuttle! This guide will help you quickly complete the onboarding process, ensuring you set up correctly and start using Shuttle with ease.
Step 1: Connect Your Etsy Shop
To begin, you need to connect your Etsy shop to Shuttle:
Click the "Connect to Etsy" button in Shuttle.
You’ll be redirected to Etsy's website to authorize the connection.
Important: Ensure you're logged into the correct Etsy account associated with your shop before initiating this connection.
Note: Your Etsy shop must have at least one active product. If your shop currently has no active products, create a simple placeholder product temporarily. You can remove this product after successfully establishing the connection.
Step 2: Product SKU Matching
Next, Shuttle will ask if your products share identical SKUs between Etsy and Shopify:
If your products do have matching SKUs, check the box provided. Shuttle will then automatically match products from Etsy to Shopify using these SKUs. This step helps ensure product updates, order line item assignments, and reviews are synced accurately.
If your products do not have matching SKUs, leave the box unchecked. You'll have the option to manually match products later or let Shuttle match them using product titles.
Step 3: Select Shopify Inventory Location
Finally, Shuttle needs to know your primary Shopify inventory location:
If you have more than one active location in Shopify, select the primary inventory location from the dropdown provided.
Shuttle will use this location to assign product quantities during transfers and fetch inventory data for product updates.
Note: If you have only one active Shopify location, this step will be automatically skipped.
Completion
Once you've completed these steps, the onboarding process is finished! You're now ready to fully leverage Shuttle’s features.
