Shuttle makes it easy to switch between plans at any time. Whether you need to unlock real-time syncing, increase your order limits, or scale down your usage, you can change your plan directly from the dashboard.
How Plan Changes Work
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time directly through the Subscription page in your Shuttle dashboard.
Since Shuttle’s plans are linear (Essential → Growth → Scale → Unlimited), moving between them is straightforward:
Upgrading (e.g., Essential to Growth): You instantly unlock new features (like Real-Time Stock Syncing) and higher limits.
Downgrading (e.g., Growth to Essential): You will lose access to the advanced features of your previous plan (such as Real-Time Syncing) effectively immediately.
What Happens When You Change Plans?
All plan changes are handled through Shopify, which ensures a smooth billing transition:
Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You gain instant access to the new plan's features and higher sync limits.
Downgrading: Takes effect immediately. Your new plan limits (and feature restrictions) will apply right away.
Prorated Charges: Shopify automatically prorates the charges, so you won’t be double charged. You’ll only pay the difference based on how much of the billing cycle has passed.
Example: If you upgrade mid-cycle, you’ll be charged a small prorated amount to cover the remainder of the month on the new plan, while being credited for the unused portion of your old plan.
Impact on Features (Syncing & Automation)
Because different plans have different capabilities, it is important to understand how switching affects your shop:
Upgrading to "Growth" or higher
If you move from Essential to Growth (or Scale/Unlimited), you unlock Real-Time Stock Syncing.
Action Required: You may need to visit the Stock Syncer page to enable the sync or configure your stock rules.
Downgrading to "Essential"
If you move from a higher plan down to Essential:
Real-Time Syncing Stops: The Essential plan does not include real-time stock syncing. Your stock levels will no longer update automatically when sales occur.
Manual Control: You will retain full ability to transfer and update products manually, but automation features will be disabled.
Moving between Growth, Scale, and Unlimited
These plans share the same core features but differ in Order Volume Limits for syncing.
If you exceed your limit: If you are on Growth (200 orders/mo) and downgrade from Scale, ensure your monthly order volume fits the new limit to avoid hitting the cap and pausing your sync.
