A star rating does not always tell the whole story, because a review can have 3 or 4 stars and still be a complaint. Shuttle's AI Rating reads the text of each Etsy review and scores its tone. That shows you how a customer really feels and helps you find the reviews that matter.

AI Rating scores the tone of a written review from 0 to 5. A score of 0 is the most negative, 5 is the most positive and 2.5 is neutral.

Shuttle gives a review its AI Rating when it stores the review. Each review is rated once, and its AI Rating stays the same after that.

Only reviews with written text get an AI Rating, so star-only reviews have none.

A review that has no AI Rating yet gets one the next time Shuttle stores it. For example, a review stored before your plan included AI Rating has none until Shuttle stores it again.

A review's AI Rating appears on the Reviews page in Shuttle, in the Review column. It sits next to the star rating in a grey badge with an AI icon.

Sorting by AI Rating brings your most positive or your most negative reviews to the top of the list.

While you sort by AI Rating, the list shows only reviews that have an AI Rating.

AI Rating can keep reviews with a negative tone out of your exports, even when their star rating is higher. To turn this on:

With Do not export AI negative reviews ticked, Shuttle skips any review with an AI Rating below 2.5. The setting applies to both manual and automatic exports. Reviews without an AI Rating are still exported.
