Shuttle's syncing plans come with a monthly limit on stock syncing activities. This limit defines how many stock level updates Shuttle's Stock Syncer will perform within each billing cycle. The exact limit depends on your selected plan—for example, the Syncing Standard plan includes 2,000 syncs per month.
Each time the Stock Syncer automatically checks and updates a stock level, it counts toward your monthly sync quota. Your available syncs reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
What Counts as a Single Sync?
A single sync occurs every time Shuttle automatically checks and updates a stock level for a product or variation, as part of the real-time Stock Syncer. To illustrate clearly:
For example, when an order containing 3 variations is received on Etsy, Shuttle's Stock Syncer automatically picks up this order and updates the stock levels for the corresponding 3 variations on Shopify. In this scenario, 3 syncs will be counted against your monthly limit.
Important note: If multiple variations within the same product are updated simultaneously—such as during the processing of a single order—this counts as only one sync, regardless of how many variations are updated.
What Does NOT Count as a Sync?
Stock updates performed manually through Shuttle's on-demand functionality (such as manual syncs triggered by the user) do not count against your monthly sync limit.
Transfers and updates of products, orders, or reviews are not counted as syncs and have unlimited usage.
Monitoring Your Monthly Sync Usage
You can easily monitor your sync usage directly in your Shuttle dashboard, which provides clear visibility on how many syncs you've used and how many remain within your billing cycle.
Exceeding Your Monthly Sync Limit
When your monthly sync limit is reached, the Stock Syncer will temporarily pause its operations. You'll receive an email notification as you approach your monthly limit.
If your store regularly exceeds its monthly sync allowance, consider upgrading your plan to a higher tier with a greater sync limit, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted stock synchronization between Etsy and Shopify.
