If you already use another app to sync Etsy and Shopify, you can switch to Shuttle without any special handover. This article shows you how to make the move with little risk.
Can I switch to Shuttle easily?
Yes. In most cases you turn off the automations in your current app, then turn them on in Shuttle.
You don't need to import data or share details from your current app. Shuttle connects to your Etsy and Shopify shops directly. It can work with your products, orders and reviews from scratch.
On the Essential, Growth, Scale and Max plans, there is no monthly cap on product, order or review transfers. The free trial and the free plan come with a monthly allowance. To learn more, see How the free plan and free trial allowances work.
Steps for a smooth migration
1. Match your SKUs (optional, but recommended)
You don't need matching SKUs, but they make the switch easier. When Etsy and Shopify use the same SKUs, Shuttle can pair your products and variations for you.
If your current app can generate SKUs automatically, use that before you switch. Shuttle can also generate SKUs for you. See Automatically Generating SKUs with Shuttle.
Matching SKUs:
Pair the right products across both shops
Help you avoid duplicate listings
Let you start syncing and updating with little setup
To match by SKU, go to Settings > Products > General. In the Smart Matcher section, turn on "Match products and variations by SKU". Leave it off if either shop has duplicate SKUs.
No matching SKUs?
That's fine. In the same Smart Matcher section, you can also turn on:
"Match products by title"
"Match variations by name"
If you turn these on, Shuttle tries title and variation-name matching first, then falls back to SKU.

2. Turn off automations in your current app
Before you turn on Shuttle's automations, such as real-time stock syncing or order transfers, turn off the same automations in your current app. This avoids:
Duplicate listings
Conflicting stock updates
Order syncing issues
Switch at your own pace
Shuttle has a free 14-day trial, so you can try it while your current app is still installed. You can:
Try Shuttle next to your current app
Turn off the old automations one at a time as you gain confidence
Check that transfers and syncing work the way you expect
Real-time stock syncing has its own 14-day free trial. To start it, open Stock Syncer in Shuttle and click Start free trial. Before you start it, turn off stock syncing in your current app, so the two apps don't overwrite each other's stock levels.

3. Set up Shuttle's features
Once your current app's automations are off:
Turn on product transfers, real-time stock syncing and review exports in Shuttle
Adjust settings such as price rules, product matching and stock syncing behavior
Start transferring and syncing
Real-time stock syncing is included in the Growth, Scale and Max plans. Growth and Scale include a monthly order allowance for stock syncing. See Understanding Stock Syncer Limits and Shuttle's Available Plans.
What else you can set up after switching
Choose how titles, descriptions, tags, images and SKUs are transferred
Check past activity in History
Review stock mismatches before they cause overselling
