Shuttle can check your Etsy shop for new reviews and pass them on for you, so you do not have to export them by hand. New reviews reach you as a CSV file by email, laid out so you can import it into your reviews app.
How automatic review exports work
About once a day, Shuttle checks your Etsy shop for new reviews and stores them in Shuttle. Along the way:
AI rating: reviews with written text get an AI rating of their tone. It shows next to the review on the Reviews page.
Translation: if you select Automatically translate reviews under Automatic translation, reviews in other languages are translated into the language you choose before they are exported.
Etsy order link: reviews linked to an Etsy order show the order number on the Reviews page. Click it to open the order in Etsy.
Negative review alerts: if you turn on review alerts, Shuttle emails you when it finds a new negative review.
Automatic translation and review alerts need the Growth plan or higher.
Turn on automatic review exports
In Shuttle, open Settings.
Under Reviews, open General.
In Which product reviews app do you use?, choose Other reviews app. Under Reviews app, pick the app you import reviews into, or No app, I just want all the reviews in a CSV. Shuttle lays out your CSV file for this choice.
In Automatic Review Exports, select Enable automatic review exports.
Choose a value in Minimum new reviews before CSV email, then click Save.
Get new reviews as a CSV file by email
Use Minimum new reviews before CSV email to choose how many new reviews Shuttle collects before it emails you a CSV file:
Send after I received 5 new reviews
Send after I received 10 new reviews
Send after I received 20 new reviews
Send after I received 50 new reviews
Shuttle uses 20 until you change it.
What's in the CSV file
The file is laid out for the reviews app you chose, so you can import it there. Each row holds the reviewer's name, the rating, the review text, the review date and the Shopify product the review belongs to.
Reviews that are not matched to a Shopify product are included as shop reviews when Include shop reviews in transfers and exports is selected. That option is selected by default. It appears for some reviews apps only, including No app, I just want all the reviews in a CSV. If you use Loox, fill in Inactive product handle under Loox shop reviews instead. With any other app, only reviews matched to a Shopify product are included.

Negative review alerts
In Settings, under Reviews, open General.
In Review Alerts, select Enable review alerts.
If you like, change the Email subject, then click Save.
A negative review is any 1 or 2-star review with written feedback, or a review whose tone gets a low AI rating. Reviews with no written text do not trigger an alert. Shuttle sends review alerts to your Shopify store's email address.
Review alerts need the Growth plan or higher.
Where CSV emails are sent
Shuttle sends CSV review emails to the address in Notifications email, under Settings > Account > Alerts & Notifications. When you install Shuttle, this is filled in with your Shopify store's email.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export reviews myself, outside the automatic schedule?
Yes. On the Reviews page, click Export reviews and choose All reviews, Only non-exported reviews, By a date range or Export queue.
Does an automatic CSV email repeat reviews from an earlier one?
No. Each automatic CSV email only holds reviews that were not in an earlier automatic email.
