Updating Stock Levels in Bulk Using a CSV File

Quickly update inventory in bulk—import stock levels with a simple CSV file

Updated over a week ago

The Bulk Stock Updater allows you to upload a CSV file containing a list of SKUs along with their desired quantities. Shuttle then processes this list and updates your inventory accordingly.

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File

First, download the CSV template from the Bulk Updater page, and fill it with your inventory data:

  • Column 1: SKU of the variation

  • Column 2: Etsy Quantity

  • Column 3: Shopify Quantity

If you prefer not to update quantities for Shopify or Etsy, simply leave those fields empty.

Please ensure quantities are valid:

  • Etsy quantities must be between 0 and 999. Negative quantities will be ignored.

  • Each CSV file can contain up to 100 SKUs. If you have more than 100 SKUs, split your data into multiple CSV files.

Step 2: Upload the CSV File

Once your CSV file is ready, click the Upload CSV button to start your bulk update (referred to as a "Job").

After uploading, Shuttle will display your data for review. If everything looks correct, click Yes, Save Job.

Your saved job will appear in the Saved Jobs section, identified by the date and time it was created.

Step 3: Run the Bulk Update

After saving the job, click Run Bulk Update to trigger Shuttle to update the variations based on your CSV.

Shuttle will process all SKUs in the background (updating up to 15 products per platform for each SKU). You can safely close the tab while the update is running. Shuttle will email you once the bulk update has completed.
