No Processing Profile found, please make sure a profile is selected in the settings and try again

Etsy refused a listing because it could not use the processing profile Shuttle sent with it.

Why it happens

When Etsy rejects a profile during a transfer or update, Shuttle reloads your profiles from Etsy and tries once more. You see this error when that second attempt also fails. This can happen for three reasons.

  • Shuttle could not reach Etsy to check your profiles. If Etsy did not answer, Shuttle cannot repair anything and the product fails with this error.

  • Your Etsy shop has no processing profiles. Shuttle tries to create one for you and emails you about it. If it cannot create one, the error stays.

  • The profile selected in Shuttle no longer exists on Etsy. Shuttle sends the selected profile with every transfer. On an update, variations keep the profile they already have on Etsy, so the selection is only sent for new variations or variations without one. When Etsy rejects it, Shuttle clears the selection and retries with your shop's default profile. You only see this error if that retry also failed, and the setting will then show no profile.

How to fix it

  1. In your Etsy shop, make sure you have at least one processing profile.

  2. In Shuttle, go to Settings > Products > Shopify → Etsy. Opening this page loads your current processing profiles from Etsy.

  3. In the About Listing section, under Processing profile, choose one of your profiles. If you see "No processing profiles found", Shuttle cannot see any profile in your Etsy shop yet, so go back to step 1.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Run the transfer or update again.
