Price must be consistent across all products

Etsy refused the variation prices Shuttle sent for this listing.

Why it happens

On Etsy, a listing's price can vary with every variation, with one option only (for example, one price for each Size), or not at all. Variations that share a price on Etsy must all get the same price. When two of them arrive with different prices, Etsy shows this error.

Shuttle sets one price for each group before it sends the update, so this error is rare. When it still appears, Etsy did not accept the prices as grouped, and the listing's price options on Etsy are the thing to check.

Shuttle stops as soon as Etsy refuses the prices, so nothing after that step is sent:

  • On an update, the title, description and other listing details are already saved. Variation prices, stock and SKUs stay as they were, and images, videos, attributes and translations are not updated.

  • On a first transfer, the listing is created on Etsy as an unpublished draft. It carries one price and one quantity, but no variations or images.

How to fix it

  1. In Etsy, open the listing and check which options its price varies by. Make sure that matches how you price this product.

  2. In Shuttle, open Products, go to the Shopify → Etsy tab, find the product and click Update in Etsy.

To learn more about updates, see Updating products with Shuttle.
