Getting your products noticed on Etsy requires a different approach than selling on your own Shopify store. Etsy’s marketplace rewards detailed, keyword-rich listings that help buyers find exactly what they’re searching for.

The AI SEO Assistant is built to bridge that gap. It takes your existing Shopify product information and enhances high-value SEO parts during the transfer to Etsy — helping you create listings that are better optimized for Etsy’s search engine, without any extra work.

Note: Your original Shopify product data is never changed. The assistant only enhances the Etsy draft created during the transfer process.

Plan Availability

The AI SEO Assistant is included in all Shuttle plans:

  • Core (or Base) Starter: up to 20 uses per month

  • Core (or Base) Standard: up to 40 uses per month

  • Core Pro and above: unlimited use

What counts as a “use”?
A single use is counted each time a product is transferred with AI-generated content included — even if you choose not to apply the suggestions.

Usage resets monthly based on your billing cycle.

Feature Scope

The assistant is currently available for single product transfers (manual or automatic) from Shopify to Etsy. It is not available for bulk transfers or product updates.

Crafting Search-Friendly Titles

While a short, simple title works well on Shopify, Etsy’s search algorithm rewards longer, more descriptive titles that use the full 140-character limit.

The assistant takes your original title and expands it with relevant, search-friendly keywords and details. This helps your products appear in a wider variety of searches without you having to brainstorm every possible keyword yourself.

For example, a simple title like "Vintage Leather Bag" could be expanded to: "Vintage Leather Bag – Handcrafted Brown Crossbody Purse – Adjustable Strap – Everyday Shoulder Handbag for Women"

Maximizing Your Tags

Etsy allows up to 13 tags per listing. The assistant helps you make the most of them by identifying relevant keywords from your product details and filling out any missing tags.

It also respects your existing tags — nothing gets overwritten.

Automatically Detecting Key Attributes

Beyond titles and tags, shoppers often filter their searches by details like color, material, or a special occasion. Manually adding these attributes to every product can be time-consuming.

The AI Assistant streamlines this process by scanning your product information to identify and suggest the primary color, materials used (like “cotton,” “silver,” or “oak”), and relevant occasions or holidays (such as “weddings” or “Christmas”).

Filling in these details helps your products appear in more filtered searches, boosts your visibility during seasonal shopping peaks, and keeps your listings consistent—all without the manual data entry.

How the AI Assistant Works in Your Transfers

Manual Transfers

When you transfer a single product, Shuttle will present the AI suggestions in a review panel. You can accept them as they are, edit them to your liking, or ignore them completely before sending the product to Etsy as a draft.

Automated Transfers

If enabled in your Product Settings, the assistant runs automatically during single-product transfers.


The enhancements are applied behind the scenes and appear directly in your Etsy draft listings, ready for your review later.

A Note on Accuracy

As with all AI tools, the SEO Assistant may occasionally make imperfect suggestions. While it’s designed to follow Etsy best practices, a 100% success rate isn’t guaranteed.

For best results, make sure your original Shopify title and description include clear, detailed information about the product — the more context the AI has, the more accurate and relevant its suggestions will be.
