Etsy turned down this product because it had more than 13 tags. Etsy allows at most 13 tags on a listing.
Why it happens
Shuttle sends Etsy no more than 13 tags for each product, so this error is rare. When you do see it, it is usually one of these:
The message is from an earlier transfer or update. The error stays on the product until you transfer or update it again. If you have not done that since the error first appeared, start there.
Etsy refused a tag list that Shuttle should have trimmed. If the error comes back right after a fresh update, the problem is on our side.
When Etsy refuses the tags, it refuses the whole update. The title, description, price and any other changes in that update did not reach Etsy either.
How to fix it
Go to Products > Shopify → Etsy and update the product again. See Updating products with Shuttle if you need help.
To choose which 13 tags Etsy gets, go to Settings > Products > Shopify → Etsy and find the Tags section.
Shuttle fills the 13 places in this order: your Custom tags, then the tags from your Shopify metafield key for tags, then your Shopify tags (only when Transfer Shopify tags is on). Tags after the 13th are left out.
To keep a Shopify tag off Etsy, add it to Exclude tags.
After you change these settings, update the product again.
