When you transfer products to Etsy, you can have Shuttle give the whole Etsy listing one stock quantity instead of one for each variant. Shuttle uses the lowest quantity among the product's Shopify variants.
How this works
If a Shopify product has several variants, Shuttle finds the variant with the lowest stock and sets that number as the stock for the whole Etsy listing.
For example, a T-shirt in Shopify has L = 10, M = 5 and S = 3. On Etsy, the listing gets one quantity of 3.
A few things to know:
The quantity Shuttle sets is always at least 1 and at most 999. If one variant is sold out in Shopify, the new Etsy listing still starts with a quantity of 1.
If none of the product's variants track stock in Shopify, Shuttle uses your Default stock quantity instead. If that field is empty, it uses 1.
To turn on this setting
In Shuttle, go to Settings, then Products, then Shopify → Etsy.
In the Stock Quantity section, under Product-level stock, check Assign quantity at product level on new transfers.
Click Save.
Note
This setting only applies when Shuttle transfers a new product to Etsy. It does not change products that are already on Etsy.
If you use Recreate Inventory on a listing that already has one quantity for the whole product, Shuttle keeps it that way while this setting is on. Read more in Update Product Variations with "Recreate Inventory".

To always sync each variant's quantity separately, turn this setting off first. The variation-level option only appears while it is off. Read Maintain Accurate Inventory by Always Syncing Variant-Level Stock Quantities.
