If you connected your Etsy shop to Shuttle before the date listed below, or if your Etsy shop is not in the region listed below, your integration will not be affected, and everything will continue to operate as usual.
Starting from October 21st, 2024, Etsy implemented changes to its API that restrict third-party apps from accessing shipping addresses for specific regions.
As a result, if your Etsy shop is located in one of the countries listed below, Shuttle will no longer automatically include shipping addresses when transferring orders to Shopify.
How Does This Affect My Orders?
Orders Will Still Transfer: All other order details will transfer normally, except for the shipping address.
Manual Address Addition: You will need to manually add shipping addresses to transferred orders in Shopify.
Easy Access to Etsy Orders: Each transferred order includes a direct link to the original Etsy order, allowing you to easily retrieve the shipping address.
Stock levels are still going to be reduced normally, stock syncing is not affected.
Additional Important Information
Automatic Fulfillment: Orders fulfilled in Shopify can no longer be automatically marked as completed on Etsy. You’ll need to manually update order statuses directly in your Etsy account.
Unchanged Features: All other valuable Shuttle order transfer features—such as Shopify analytics integration, automatic inventory adjustments, linking orders to existing customers, and seamless Etsy-to-Shopify fulfillment integration—remain fully operational.
