Shuttle enables you to effortlessly manage product videos when transferring or updating products between Etsy and Shopify. You can control how videos are handled, whether they're transferred, and exactly where they're placed within your product media gallery.
Including Product Videos
When transferring products between Etsy and Shopify, you can choose whether or not to include product videos:
Enable video transfer: Videos will automatically be included when you transfer products.
Disable video transfer: Videos will not be transferred, allowing you to manually manage videos later.
Avoiding Duplicate or Unwanted Videos
If your product already contains a video, you might not want to overwrite or add additional videos during the transfer. Shuttle offers a setting to handle this:
When enabled, Shuttle will not transfer videos if the corresponding target product already contains a video.
However, if the product's existing target product's video was previously transferred from the source product, Shuttle will overwrite it if the original source video has since been updated. This ensures your video remains current.
Specifying Video Position
Shuttle also allows you to define exactly where in your Shopify product media gallery transferred videos will appear:
Choose a specific position (e.g., first, second, third) for the transferred videos.
Selecting position #1 makes the video your product's featured media, giving it maximum visibility.
Note: Depending on your Shopify plan, there may be limitations on how many videos you can assign to each product. You can learn more about Shopify's limits here.
