When a product sells out on Etsy, Shuttle automatically updates its stock level to zero in your Shopify store. Additionally, Shuttle provides you with flexible options to manage the Shopify product's visibility, ensuring your shop stays aligned with your inventory strategy.
To find this setting, visit the Stock Syncer Settings page, and navigate to the "What to do when a product is sold-out?"section. There, you can choose from the following options:
1. Do Not Change the Product's State
Select this option if you'd like the sold-out products to remain visible in your Shopify store. Customers will continue to see the product listed, even though it's marked as out-of-stock.
2. Change Product's State to 'Draft'
Selecting this will unpublish the product, moving it to a 'draft' state. The product will no longer appear publicly in your store until manually re-published, allowing you to update or manage inventory before making it available again.
3. Change Product's State to 'Archived'
If you prefer sold-out products to be fully removed from public view and all connected sales channels, choosing 'Archived' will accomplish this. This option helps keep your storefront tidy and focused on available inventory.
Using these settings, Shuttle empowers you to control exactly how your Shopify store displays products once they've sold out on Etsy.
