When an item sells out on Etsy, you usually want your Shopify store to reflect that too. Shuttle sets the product's stock in Shopify to 0, and you choose what happens to the Shopify product itself: leave it as it is, move it to draft, or archive it.

To control what happens to sold-out products, you need the Stock Syncer, which comes with the Growth plan or higher, or with a Stock Syncer free trial.

The sold-out setting lives in the Stock Syncer settings for syncing from Etsy to Shopify.

Do not change the product state is the default. The product stays visible in your Shopify store with 0 stock, so customers can still see it.

Change the product state to draft hides the product from customers by setting it to draft in Shopify.

Shuttle can make a drafted product active again on its own. When Sync product state is ticked in the same section (it is on by default), Shuttle sets the product back to active once the Etsy listing is active again, for example after you restock it.

With Sync product state turned off, you need to make the product active again yourself in Shopify.

Change the product state to archived archives the product in Shopify, which removes it from your store and all your connected sales channels.

Shuttle never brings an archived product back. When you restock it, unarchive it yourself in Shopify.
