Shuttle's Product Reviews Carousel shows your Etsy reviews on your Shopify product pages. Each product page shows the reviews written for that product.
Which reviews appear
Only 5-star reviews with written content.
Only reviews stored in Shuttle and matched to a Shopify product. See How Shuttle Matches Etsy Reviews to Shopify Products.
Up to 15 reviews per product, newest first.
Reviews with images come first. Text-only reviews fill the remaining slots. To show only reviews with images, turn on Only use reviews with images.
Reviews you exclude on the Reviews page are left out.
Important: A product needs at least 3 reviews that meet these rules, and it needs a product image. If it doesn't have both, Shuttle does not send its reviews and the carousel does not appear on that product page.
How to add the carousel to your store
No coding is needed.
In Shuttle, go to Settings > Reviews > Theme Blocks.
In the Product Reviews Carousel card, turn on Enable Product Reviews Carousel and save your changes.
Under Send product reviews to Shopify, click Send reviews to Shopify. Shuttle sends your stored reviews to their matching Shopify products. This can take several minutes. The card shows how many products have been processed so far.
At the top of the card, click Add to theme. Your Shopify theme editor opens on your product page with the Reviews Carousel block added.
In the block's settings, set its source to Product Reviews (current product).
Move the block where you want it on the page and save your theme.
You can change the carousel's colors, layout and template in your theme editor.
The top of the card also shows whether the block is live in your published theme.
Send reviews to specific products
You can also send reviews to one product at a time:
Under Send reviews to specific products, search for the product by title. Type at least 3 characters.
Click Send reviews next to the product.
If a product shows Not enough reviews, it has fewer than 3 reviews that meet the rules above.
New reviews
When the carousel is turned on, Shuttle checks Etsy for new reviews automatically. When a new review is 5 stars, has written content and is matched to a Shopify product, Shuttle updates that product's carousel.
After you match many products at once or import new reviews, click Re-send reviews so every product gets its latest reviews.
Hiding a review
On Shuttle's Reviews page, find the review and choose Exclude review.
In Settings > Reviews > Theme Blocks, under Send reviews to specific products, search for that product and click Send reviews again so its carousel updates.
Removing the carousel
Delete the Reviews Carousel block from your product page in your Shopify theme editor. To stop Shuttle from sending reviews for the carousel as well, turn off Enable Product Reviews Carousel.
