Shuttle's Shop Reviews Carousel is a Shopify theme block that shows your best Etsy reviews on your Shopify store. It works with Shopify themes that support Online Store 2.0, and you can add it without any coding.
The Shop Reviews Carousel is available on the Essential, Growth, Scale and Max plans, and during the free trial.
Turn on the carousel in Shuttle
In Shuttle, go to Settings > Reviews > Theme Blocks.
In the Shop Reviews Carousel section, tick Enable Shop Reviews Carousel.
Click Save.
Add the carousel to your store
In the Shop Reviews Carousel section, click Add to theme. Your Shopify theme editor opens with the block ready to add to your home page.
Place the block where you want it, then save your theme.
You can also add the Shop Reviews Carousel block yourself from your Shopify theme editor.
Once the block is in your published theme, the section in Shuttle shows Active in your theme. If it shows In theme, but not live, the carousel is turned off in Shuttle. Tick Enable Shop Reviews Carousel and click Save.
Customize how it looks
You change the carousel's look in your Shopify theme editor. Select the block to choose its template and adjust things like colors and whether the reviewer's avatar shows.
On the Theme Blocks page, Shuttle also shows a preview of your featured reviews.
Which reviews the carousel shows
The carousel shows between 3 and 15 of your Etsy reviews. A review can only appear if:
It is already stored in Shuttle. See Storing your Etsy Reviews.
It has 5 stars and includes written text.
It is linked to one of your products in Shuttle. See How Shuttle Matches Etsy Reviews to Shopify Products.
When your featured list is empty, Shuttle fills it for you with up to 15 reviews. It picks the newest reviews that meet these rules and puts reviews with photos first.
If you ticked Only use reviews with images in the Product Reviews Carousel section, Shuttle's automatic pick for this carousel also uses only reviews with photos.
Choose your own reviews
You can change the list under Featured reviews in the Shop Reviews Carousel section.
To add a review:
Click Add review.
Search by product title or reviewer name, then click Search.
Click Add next to the review you want.
The carousel holds up to 15 reviews. Once the list is full, you can't add more until you remove one.
To remove a review, click the bin icon next to it. The carousel needs at least 3 reviews, so you can't remove any more once only 3 are left.
To change the order, drag a review by the handle on its left. Then click Save.
How to remove the carousel
To hide the carousel but keep the block in your theme, untick Enable Shop Reviews Carousel and click Save.
To remove it completely, delete the block in your Shopify theme editor.
