Shuttle can change your prices automatically when it transfers or updates products between Etsy and Shopify. Set your rules once, and Shuttle applies them every time.
This is useful when you want different prices on each channel, for example to cover fees or to run a promotion on one store.
Where to find the settings
In Shuttle, open Settings.
Under Products, choose Etsy → Shopify or Shopify → Etsy, depending on which way your products move.
Scroll to the Product Price section.
Set up your rules (see below).
Click Save.
Each direction has its own rules. A rule you set under Etsy → Shopify does not change prices going to Etsy, and the other way around.
Default price adjustment
This rule applies to every product, unless a dynamic rule matches it first.
Under Operation, choose one of these:
Keep price as-is: no change.
Add to Etsy price (or Add to Shopify price): adds a fixed amount. To lower prices, enter a negative number, such as -3.
Multiply Etsy price (or Multiply Shopify price): multiplies the price. Use 1.1 for a 10% increase.
To multiply and then add a fixed amount, enter both in the Multiply by field, for example 1.1 + 2.
Example: To make your Shopify prices 10% higher than on Etsy, go to Etsy → Shopify, choose Multiply Etsy price and enter 1.1.
Dynamic rules
Dynamic rules change the price only for products that match. When a dynamic rule matches, it replaces the default adjustment for that product.
Click Add price rule, then choose what to match by under Match by.
For Etsy → Shopify, you can match by:
By section: the product's Etsy section.
By tag: one of the product's Etsy tags.
By category: the product's Etsy category.
Title keyword: a word or phrase anywhere in the product title.
Variation: a variation option, such as Large or Red. Only the matching variations get the new price.
For Shopify → Etsy, you can match by:
By collection: one of the product's Shopify collections.
By tag: one of the product's Shopify tags.
By vendor: the product's vendor.
Title keyword: a word or phrase anywhere in the product title.
Variation: a variation option, such as Large or Red. Only the matching variations get the new price.
Then enter the values to match. Separate several values with commas. Capital letters do not matter. Apart from title keywords, the value must match the whole name. For example, a section rule for "Jewelry" will not match a section called "Jewelry Sets".
Finally, choose Add to price or Multiply price under Operation, and enter the Amount. To lower a price, choose Add to price and enter a negative number.
Only one rule applies to each product or variation. Shuttle checks your rules from the top of the list down and uses the first one that matches. Put your most specific rules at the top.
Example: You sell jewelry and clothing on Etsy. You want jewelry 20% higher on Shopify and clothing $2 higher. Under Etsy → Shopify, add two rules:
By section, value Jewelry, Multiply price, amount 1.2.
By section, value Clothing, Add to price, amount 2.
Compare at Price (Etsy → Shopify only)
When products go from Etsy to Shopify, you can also set the Shopify Compare at Price. Under Compare at price, choose one of these:
Keep current Compare at Price: Shuttle leaves it alone.
Etsy price plus: the Etsy price plus a fixed amount.
Etsy price multiplied: the Etsy price times a number.
Clear Compare at Price (remove its value in Shopify): removes it.
The Compare at Price is worked out from the Etsy price itself, not from the price after your price rules.
Example: Your Etsy price is $20, and you want Shopify to show it as reduced from $25. Choose Etsy price multiplied and enter 1.25.
Using Shopify's Compare at Price (Shopify → Etsy)
When products go from Shopify to Etsy, you can tick Use Shopify's Compare at Price. Shuttle then starts from each variation's Compare at Price instead of its regular price. If a variation has no Compare at Price, Shuttle uses its regular price.
Currency conversion and rounding
The Product Price section also lets you convert prices to the other store's currency and round the final price. Shuttle first applies your price rules, then converts the currency, then rounds. To learn more, see Automatically Converting Product Prices Between Currencies.
When the rules apply
Shuttle applies these rules whenever it transfers a product, and whenever it updates a product's prices. Changing a rule does not change products that are already transferred. To apply new rules to existing products, update their prices. See Updating product prices between Etsy and Shopify.
