On the free plan and during the free 14-day trial, Shuttle gives you a monthly allowance for three things. Paid plans have no allowances at all. This article explains exactly what is counted, so nothing takes you by surprise.
The three allowances

They are three separate counts. Using all 10 of your product transfers has no effect on your orders or your reviews.
When they start again
Allowances run on the calendar month and start again on the 1st, wherever you are in the month when you begin. They do not build up: unused transfers in June do not add to July.
What counts
A product transfer counts once, when Shuttle creates the product on the other platform. This works the same way in both directions, from Shopify to Etsy and from Etsy to Shopify.
An order transfer counts once, when Shuttle creates the Etsy order in your Shopify store.
A stored review counts once, when Shuttle saves an Etsy review into Shuttle.
What never counts, on any plan
Product updates. Sending changed prices, titles, descriptions, images or stock to an already matched product is unlimited. Keeping your listings accurate is never something Shuttle charges you for.
Matching products. Pairing products you already sell on both platforms is free and unlimited, however many you have.
Sending stored reviews to Shopify. Once a review is stored, exporting it is unlimited. The allowance only covers pulling reviews in from Etsy.
Order updates and fulfillment. Tracking and fulfillment syncing, cancellations, refunds and any other update to an order already in Shopify are never counted. Only creating the order counts.
Anything that failed. Your allowance is only spent on work that landed. A transfer that fails does not take a slot.
The queue is separate
The queue holds 10 items on the free plan and 100 during the trial and on paid plans. That is how many items you can line up at once, and it is not a second allowance. Queued transfers still use your monthly allowance when they run, and queued updates use nothing, because updates are never counted.
When an allowance runs out
Only that one thing pauses. If you have used your 10 product transfers, you can still update products, match products, transfer orders and store reviews. Shuttle tells you in the app the moment a limit is reached, and sends you an email if it happens while you are away.
From there you have three options:
Wait for the 1st, when the count starts again.
Start your free 14-day trial, if you have not used it. Your allowances go up to 50 straight away, so an empty count is no longer empty.
Subscribe. Allowances disappear completely and the limit stops being something you think about. Plans start at $12 a month and include unlimited transfers, automatic syncing and bulk runs. See Shuttle's available plans.
How the trial affects the count
Starting the trial raises your ceiling on the same counts, it does not clear them. If you have used 6 product transfers this month, starting the trial leaves you 44 of the 50.
When the trial ends, what you used during it still counts for that month, and your ceiling returns to 10. That often means little or nothing is left until the 1st, which is normal and not a fault.
If your trial runs across the start of a new month, the new month gives you a fresh 50.

Your Shuttle overview shows each allowance with what you have used and what remains, along with the days left if your trial is running.
A note on stock syncing
Real-time stock syncing is a separate product with its own plans and its own limits, based on the number of orders that trigger an inventory update. It is not part of these allowances at all.
