On the free plan and during the free 14-day trial, Shuttle gives you a monthly allowance for product transfers, order transfers and stored reviews. Paid plans have no allowances at all. Here is exactly what counts and what does not.
What are the free plan and trial allowances?
The free plan and the free 14-day trial each give you a separate monthly allowance for three things:
Product transfers
Order transfers
Stored reviews
The size of each allowance depends on your plan:
Free plan: 10 of each a month.
Free 14-day trial: 50 of each a month.
Paid plans: unlimited.
Each allowance has its own count. Using all 10 of your product transfers does not touch your order transfers or your stored reviews.
When do the allowances reset?
The allowances follow the calendar month and start again on the 1st, whatever day you started. They do not build up, so unused transfers in June do not add to July.
What counts towards an allowance?
A product transfer counts once, when Shuttle creates the product on the other platform. It works the same way in both directions, from Shopify to Etsy and from Etsy to Shopify.
An order transfer counts once, when Shuttle creates the Etsy order in your Shopify store.
A stored review counts once, when you use Store reviews and Shuttle saves a new Etsy review. Reviews that are already in Shuttle are not counted again.
What never counts towards an allowance?
These never use an allowance, on any plan:
Product updates: sending changed prices, titles, descriptions, images or stock to a product that is already matched is unlimited.
Matching products: pairing products you already sell on both platforms is free and unlimited, however many you have.
Sending stored reviews to Shopify: once a review is stored, exporting it is unlimited. The stored reviews allowance only covers bringing reviews in from Etsy.
Reviews Shuttle collects on its own: during the trial, Shuttle can pick up new Etsy reviews automatically, and those are not counted.
Order updates and fulfillment: tracking and fulfillment syncing, cancellations, refunds and any other update to an order already in Shopify are never counted. Only creating the order counts.
Anything that failed: only work that succeeds uses your allowance, so a transfer that fails does not take a slot.
Is the queue a separate allowance?
The queue is not a second allowance. It sets how many items you can line up at once: 10 on the free plan, and 100 during the trial and on paid plans.
Queued transfers still use your monthly allowance when they run. Queued updates use nothing, because updates are never counted.
What happens when an allowance runs out?
When one allowance runs out, only that kind of work pauses. If you have used your 10 product transfers, you can still update products, match products, transfer orders and store reviews.
Shuttle tells you in the app as soon as a limit is reached, and also follows up by email.
From there you have three options:
Wait for the 1st, when the count starts again.
Start your free 14-day trial, if you have not used it yet. Your allowances go up to 50 straight away.
Subscribe, and the allowances go away completely. Plans start at $12 a month and include unlimited transfers and bulk runs.
How does starting the free trial affect your allowances?
Starting the free 14-day trial raises your limit on the same counts, but it does not reset them. If you have used 6 product transfers this month, starting the trial leaves you 44 of the 50.
When the trial ends and you are back on the free plan, what you used during the trial still counts for that month and your limit goes back to 10. That often means little or nothing is left until the 1st, which is normal and not a fault.
If your trial runs past the start of a new month, the new month gives you a fresh 50.
Where can you check how much of each allowance is left?
Your plan label at the top of Shuttle shows what is left when you hover over it. The label reads Free plan, or Free trial with the days you have left. Hovering shows how many product transfers, orders and reviews you have used out of each allowance, and when they reset.
The setup guide on your overview shows the same counts.
Does stock syncing count towards these allowances?
Real-time stock syncing is not part of the free plan and trial allowances. On the Growth and Scale plans, stock syncing has its own monthly limit, based on the number of orders that sync stock. On the Max plan, stock syncing has no limit.
