If you need to stop syncing a specific Etsy shop with Shuttle, you can disconnect it from your account. This guide walks you through the process and explains what to expect when you remove a shop.
Important: Disconnecting an Etsy shop will completely remove it from Shuttle, including all product matches, stored reviews, and settings associated with that shop.
Before You Disconnect
Before removing an Etsy shop, consider the following:
Product Availability Across Multiple Etsy Shops
If you operate multiple Etsy shops in your Shuttle account, it's important to understand how Shuttle handles product assignments:
Etsy's Policy: Etsy does not allow the same listing to be sold in multiple Etsy shops simultaneously.
Shuttle's Approach: Shuttle assigns a single Shopify product to a single Etsy product. This means each Shopify product can only sync with one Etsy listing at a time.
What This Means: If you disconnect an Etsy shop, any Shopify products that were matched to listings in that shop will become available for syncing with other Etsy shops in your account.
Data Loss
When you disconnect an Etsy shop, the following will be permanently removed from Shuttle:
All product matches between your Shopify store and that Etsy shop
Stored customer reviews from that Etsy shop
Shop-specific settings and configurations

Go to the Shops page
Click "Add Etsy Shop"
Follow the connection process again
Rematch your products (previous matches will not be restored)
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will disconnecting an Etsy shop affect my other connected shops?
A: No. Disconnecting one Etsy shop only affects that specific shop. Your other connected Etsy shops and your Shopify store will continue to sync normally.
Q: Can I disconnect a shop temporarily?
A: Yes. You can disconnect a shop and reconnect it later. However, you'll need to rematch your products, as previous matches are not saved after disconnection.
Q: What if I have multiple Etsy shops and want to consolidate?
A: You can disconnect shops you no longer need. Just remember that Etsy doesn't allow the same listing in multiple shops, so consolidating can help you manage your inventory more effectively with Shuttle.
Q: Will my Shopify inventory levels change when I disconnect an Etsy shop?
A: Your Shopify inventory quantities will remain as they are. However, real-time stock syncing will stop for products that were matched to the disconnected shop.
