If you no longer want Shuttle to sync an Etsy shop, you can disconnect it from your settings. Before you do, it helps to know what Shuttle deletes and what stays in your stores.
Disconnecting an Etsy shop removes it from Shuttle for good. Its product matches, stored reviews and settings are deleted, and you cannot undo this.
What disconnecting an Etsy shop deletes from Shuttle
When you disconnect an Etsy shop, Shuttle permanently deletes its records for that shop:
All product matches between your Shopify store and that Etsy shop
Custom matches set up for that shop
Kits and bundles set up for that shop
Stored reviews from that Etsy shop
That shop's settings
Products and orders that Shuttle already transferred stay in your Shopify store. Only Shuttle's records for that Etsy shop are deleted.
What happens to your products, listings and stock after disconnecting an Etsy shop
Your products stay where they are in both stores, but Shuttle stops syncing them with the disconnected Etsy shop:
Your Shopify products stay in your store, but they no longer sync with that Etsy shop.
Your Etsy listings stay in your Etsy shop, but Shuttle no longer updates them.
Stock syncing stops for products that were matched to that shop.
Reviews stored in Shuttle from that shop are deleted.
Matched Shopify products become free for another Etsy shop
Once you disconnect an Etsy shop, the Shopify products that were matched to its listings can be matched or transferred with another Etsy shop in your account. That is because each Shopify product in Shuttle is matched to one Etsy listing in one Etsy shop, and disconnecting the shop releases those products.
How to disconnect an Etsy shop
In Shuttle, open Settings.
Under Account, select Connected Shops.
In the Etsy shops section, find the shop and click Disconnect.
The Disconnect Etsy shop window opens. Read the message, then click Disconnect shop. To keep the shop, click Cancel.
Shuttle confirms that the shop was disconnected and reloads the app. If you disconnected the active shop, another of your connected Etsy shops becomes active.
The Disconnect button also shows for a shop marked Reconnect needed, so you can remove an Etsy shop whose connection has expired.
If the page has a Disconnected Etsy shops section, click Delete next to a shop there to remove it and its records in the same way.
Reconnecting an Etsy shop you disconnected
If you connect the same Etsy shop again later, Shuttle treats it as a new shop, so you set it up from the start:
Go to Settings, then Connected Shops.
Click Add Etsy shop and follow the connection steps.
Set up the shop's settings again.
Match your products again. Your old matches are not restored.
Set up any custom matches and kits and bundles again.
Common questions about disconnecting an Etsy shop
Will disconnecting one Etsy shop affect my other connected shops?
No. Disconnecting one Etsy shop only affects that shop. Your other connected Etsy shops and your Shopify store keep syncing as normal.
Can I disconnect an Etsy shop temporarily?
No. Disconnecting an Etsy shop deletes its matches, reviews and settings from Shuttle, so if you connect it again later, you start from scratch.
I'm on the free plan. Can I connect a different Etsy shop instead?
Yes. On the free plan and during the free trial, you can connect one Etsy shop. Once you disconnect it, the Add Etsy shop button shows again and you can connect another one.
Will my Shopify inventory levels change when I disconnect an Etsy shop?
No. Your Shopify quantities stay as they are. Stock syncing stops for products that were matched to the disconnected Etsy shop.
