When you uninstall Shuttle, your setup is not deleted straight away. Shuttle keeps your data for 28 days, so if you change your mind and reinstall within that time, you pick up right where you left off.
What happens to your Shopify store and Etsy shop when you uninstall Shuttle?
Uninstalling Shuttle does not change anything in your Shopify store or your Etsy shop. Products, listings, orders and reviews that Shuttle already transferred stay where they are.
Shuttle stops working for your shops once it is uninstalled. It no longer syncs stock, transfers orders or updates products, and your Shuttle subscription is cancelled.
How long does Shuttle keep your data after you uninstall?
Shuttle keeps your data for 28 days after you uninstall, then permanently deletes it, as Shopify requires. The data Shuttle keeps and then deletes includes:
your product and variation matches, including custom matches
your sync rules and settings
your Etsy shop connection
your kits and bundles
the Etsy orders Shuttle transferred and the Etsy reviews it stored
If you would rather not come back, you do not need to do anything. Shuttle deletes the data on day 28 by itself.
Which emails does Shuttle send after you uninstall?
Shuttle emails your store's email address so you know the exact date your data will be deleted:
About an hour after you uninstall, an email with the date Shuttle keeps your data until.
Five days after you uninstall, a reminder that your account and data are still there.
Two days before the deletion date, a final reminder.
The two reminders only go to stores that had an Etsy shop connected. If you were on the free plan or the free trial, the first email is a goodbye email that includes the same date.
What happens when you reinstall Shuttle within 28 days?
Reinstalling Shuttle within 28 days of uninstalling brings back your setup as you left it. Your matches, rules, settings and Etsy shop connection are all still there, so there is nothing to reconnect or set up again. Once you reinstall, Shuttle stops sending the uninstall reminders.
If you uninstalled partway through a paid billing period, your plan is active again when you reinstall and stays active until that period ends. After that, you need to subscribe again to keep your plan.
What happens when you reinstall Shuttle after 28 days?
Reinstalling Shuttle more than 28 days after you uninstalled means you set it up again from the start, because your Shuttle data has been deleted. You connect your Etsy shop again and choose your settings and rules again.
Your products are still in your Shopify store and your Etsy shop, so you can match them again instead of transferring them a second time.
Keep a copy of your Etsy reviews before you uninstall Shuttle
The Etsy reviews Shuttle stored are deleted along with the rest of your data, and you cannot reach Shuttle to export them while it is uninstalled. If you want to keep them, export them before you uninstall.
