AI Discovery - FAQ & Troubleshooting

Common questions about AI Discovery.

Updated this week

Why are my Shopify and Etsy scores different?

Each platform is scored independently based on that platform's listing data. If your Shopify listing has a different title, description, images, or tags than your Etsy listing, the scores will reflect those differences.

Why does my product show no Trust Signal score?

Products without reviews skip the Trust Signals category entirely. This is by design — new products and products that haven't received reviews yet are not penalized. Your score is calculated out of the remaining categories instead, so you're not at a disadvantage.

How long does Analysis or Optimization take?

Most analyses and optimizations finish in under a minute. You'll see live progress updates as each stage completes, and you can continue using Shuttle while it works in the background.

My analysis is stuck or failed — what do I do?

Occasionally an analysis can fail due to a temporary issue. You can re-run it from the product detail view. If it fails repeatedly, please contact our support team. Failed runs do not consume any credits, so you can re-try without worry.

Do I need products synced between Shopify and Etsy?

No. AI Discovery works with any product in your Shuttle account — whether it exists only on Shopify, only on Etsy, or is synced across both platforms.

Can I run Analysis on multiple products at once?

Base Scores can be recalculated in bulk for all your products once per day from the AI Discovery page. Analysis and Optimization run one product at a time, so you'll need to start them individually for each product.

What AI models are used?

We use industry-leading AI models to power the Analysis and Optimization stages. Your product data is only used to perform the analysis — it is not stored by or used to train AI models.

I applied suggestions but I'm not happy with the result.

We recommend reviewing all suggestions carefully before applying. If you'd like to try again, you can run a new Optimization with different questions to get fresh suggestions — this will use an additional optimization credit. [Learn more about customizing questions →]

Can I edit the generated questions?

You cannot edit the wording of generated questions directly. However, you can remove any question that isn't quite right and add a new one with your preferred phrasing. [Learn more about Analysis →]
