AI Discovery uses credits for Analysis and Optimization. Base Scores never use credits.
AI Discovery is included in the free 14-day trial and in every paid plan. It is not part of the free plan. For details, see The free plan: what it includes and what it does not.
Two types of credits
Analysis credits: each time you run an Analysis on a product, it uses 1 analysis credit.
Optimization credits: each time you generate content suggestions for a product, it uses 1 optimization credit.
These don't use credits:
Applying suggestions to your listings.
Re-analyzing a product after you edit its questions.
Monthly credits included with your plan
The free 14-day trial and every paid plan come with a monthly allowance of both credit types:
Free 14-day trial: 10 analyses and 5 optimizations
Essential: 40 analyses and 10 optimizations per month
Growth: 100 analyses and 20 optimizations per month
Scale: 250 analyses and 50 optimizations per month
Max: 500 analyses and 100 optimizations per month
Monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused monthly credits don't carry over to the next month. To see how many you have left and when they reset, check the AI Credits panel on the AI Discovery page.

If you run out of credits before the month ends, you can buy a one-time credit pack:
Small Pack: 15 analyses and 5 optimizations for $2.99
Medium Pack: 40 analyses and 10 optimizations for $8.99
Large Pack: 100 analyses and 25 optimizations for $16.99
Analyses Pack: 50 analyses for $4.99
Optimizations Pack: 25 optimizations for $6.99
To buy a pack:
In Shuttle, open the AI Discovery page.
In the AI Credits panel, click Add credits.
Choose a pack, then click the purchase button.
Approve the one-time charge in Shopify.
The charge shows up on your Shopify bill. Credits from packs never expire.
How credits are used
Your monthly credits are always used first. Credits from packs are only used after your monthly credits run out.
For example, say your plan includes 40 analyses per month and you bought a Small Pack. You use your 40 monthly analyses first. After those are gone, the 15 analyses from the pack are used.
Failed operations don't cost credits
A credit is only used when an Analysis or Optimization finishes. If one fails, no credit is used, and you can run it again.
